Nov. 4: COTE Presentation: Modern Transhumance

Join the AIA Denver Committee on the Environment (COTE) on Friday, Nov. 4 from noon-1 p.m. at the University of Colorado – Denver architecture building (14th and Lawrence, Suite 440, Denver, CO 80202) for "Modern Transhumance" presented by University of Colorado – Denver professor Keith Loftin.
This presentation reviews documentation of contemporary transhumance of sheep from the Luberon in Southern France to the high alpages of the Park des Ecrins in the Oisans. [Definition of Transhumance: the seasonal movement of people with their livestock between fixed summer and winter pastures.]
